Meera Bryant – Consultant Anaesthetist
Dr Meera Bryant is a consultant anaesthetist specialising in plastic surgery, urology and intensive care medicine. She qualified as a doctor in India in 1986 before moving to England to continue her training. She completed her fellowship at the Warwickshire School of Anaesthetics and now has a NHS practice at the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton.
She brings a wealth of experience having previously help set up the Breast Reconstruction Anaesthetic Service at the George Eliot with Mr Alan Park, a fellow consultant plastic and reconstruction surgeon.
Dr Bryant speaks Hindi, Urdu and Marathi. She says that, for those women that do have a preference, an all-female breast team would be welcome addition to the region’s healthcare services and its diverse ethno-religious population.
