Ruth Waters – Consultant Plastic Surgeon

I work closely with fellow consultant Plastic Surgeon Ruth Waters for complex breast reconstructions. We both share the same surgical techniques and professional values. We firmly believe that complex microsurgery by a two consultant team achieves the best outcome for patients. Ruth and I have operated closely together for more than a decade. Our close relationship also nurtures continuing medical development, professional support and maintains consultant cover, 24 hours a day, even when one of us is on leave.

Miss Waters is an experienced consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon at The University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. She has a specialist interest in aesthetic and reconstructive mircosurgery of the breast. She also has interests in skin oncology, skin lasers and microvascular surgery.
