Cosmetic surgery is usually performed to correct a physical abnormality or to enhance an otherwise normal physical feature and, therefore, improve a person’s appearance.
I offer the following procedures for the face:
Blepharoplasty (upper or lower eyelid surgery) is an operation to achieve a rejuvenated, more wide-awake look around the eyes. It can be performed on upper and/or lower eyelids.
A facelift is an operation performed to improve your face and neck to a natural, more youthful looking state. The procedure is best suited to treating the lower half of the face. It addresses the deepening folds running from the corner of your nose to your mouth (the nasolabial folds), sagging jowls, wrinkles and a sagging neck.
Fat transfer (or fat grafting) is a dynamic procedure which has gained immense popularity for correcting contour defects in various parts of the body. The technique involves aspirating fat through a special small diameter cannulae. The fat is then treated to remove oil and excess water. This leaves concentrated fat cells which are gently re-injected to fill out the desired area.
Otoplasty, also known as prominent ear correction, pinnaplasty and bat ear correction, is a surgical procedure that is performed to move the ears into a more natural looking position closer to the head.
Ear piercings can stretch and occasionally result in a tear of the earlobe. Some patients have deliberately stretched their earlobes (tribal ears) but now wish this repaired. For both scenarios, repairing the deformity is a short procedure under local anaesthetic but needs to be performed properly so that healing does not occur with an indentation. The procedure can be performed as an out-patient procedure.

I often consult with patients who have decided to remove their implants for a variety of reasons and not have them replaced. What is common to all patients is that they are worried about what they will look like without the implants and want to know the options. This article explores the reasons why patients […]
Patients may wonder why it is important to stop smoking before, during and after surgery? This is simply because of nicotine and not the cigarette itself (please see article https://bit.ly/2C5gTE3). Patients who use it and have elected for surgery must be aware of the main associated risks and complications: · The impact of nicotine on […]

@BAAPSMedia Consent Booklet on #PlasticSurgery procedures looks fantastic and I look forward to using them. They will further inform patients with accurate and reliable information on safe surgical standards. Artwork is pretty neat too! pic.twitter.com/RIvg…

Dear Valued Patients,
As times remain challenging, your health remains my priority.
I am sure you are aware that most surgeons are trying to address a considerable backlog of cases nationwide. Unfortunately, hospitals are having to limit the amount of theatre time they can offer me.
As a consequence of this, as well as other professional commitments, I can only consult with a very small number of new patients at the moment.
Please accept my apologies if this is unwelcome news and I hope the situation will improve soon.
Best wishes – Anne
