Dr Rajneesh Sachdeva MBBS, DA(Gold Medallist), FCARCSI is employed as a full-time senior NHS consultant anaesthetist at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Birmingham. This is a tertiary care trauma and referral centre for complex medical and surgical procedures.
After graduating from medicine at the Guru Nanak Dev University in 1996, he qualified as an anaesthetist at the prestigious Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla in India. Before coming to UK he also worked with the Post Graduate Institute in Chandigarh.
Dr Sachdeva completed further anaesthetic training in the Midlands area in both Coventry and Birmingham. His special areas of anaesthetic practice include trauma, plastics, vascular, ENT, difficult airways, gynaecology, regional anaesthesia and acute pain management. Dr Sachdeva is fully registered with the General Medical Council, and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthetics in the UK (GMC No. 6100192).
