I provide a full range of cosmetic surgery procedures as well as breast reconstruction and lymphoedema microsurgery techniques. For lipoedema sufferers, I offer specialised liposuction to treat what is often a misdiagnosed medical condition and yet affects so many women. I believe that operations should be tailor made for the patient and I often combine recognised techniques and procedures to give optimum results. My grounding in reconstructive surgery has given me a unique knowledge of the breast which is also applicable in many cosmetic techniques.
Overall my surgical experience was amazing, I was very nervous in the lead up to it but I was made comfortable and at ease. All of the staff made me feel relaxed and comfortable, especially Anne.
From start to finish I was in safe hands with Anne and all of her team.
Anne was professional with a very caring manor.
Was delighted to of met Anne at a Lipoedema UK Conference and at a personal consulatation in 2016, then finally started my journey to become Lipoedema Free….https://www.facebook.com/pg/DrAnneDancey/reviews
I chose Anne Dancey as I wanted a female surgeon and was impressed with her experience… https://www.facebook.com/pg/DrAnneDancey/reviews/
I am extremely happy with the results. Throughout the procedure Anne was approachable and friendly. I was never made to feel as if I was bothering her when I had any questions.
Excellent, would highly recommend Anne.
I was diagnosed with lymphoedem
a about 4 years ago and… I have just had my fourth lymphoedem a surgery with Anne and..I feel like my life will no longer be controlled by the condition…https://www.facebook.com/pg/DrAnneDancey/reviews
Anne is an exceptional surgeon but her expertise goes way beyond her skill with a scalpel…Anne has quite literally changed my life, physically and psychologically
Great experience with Anne, focuses on safety and aesthetics. Pleased with the results. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/annedancey.co.uk
Patients may wonder why it is important to stop smoking before, during and after surgery? This is simply because of nicotine and not the cigarette itself (please see article https://bit.ly/2C5gTE3). Patients who use it and have elected for surgery must be aware of the main associated risks and complications: · The impact of nicotine on […]
The NHS recognises lipoedema as being “a chronic (long-term) condition where there’s an abnormal build-up of fat cells in the legs, thighs and buttocks, and sometimes in the arms”. (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/lipoedema/ accessed 23/11/17) The NHS direct website has a section on lipoedema that describes tumescent liposuction as being the only effective treatment. @TobyRichardsUCL @LondPlasticsurg @BBC In short, yes. Removal of fat by #Liposuction improves mobility, reduces pain and begins to restore damaged self-esteem. Am currently conducting QOL assessment with my #Lipedema patients to verify this. Sadly, #Lipoedema is very expensive to treat and not available on @NHSuk.
bit.ly/2WWpXmT - my latest 360 appraisal by @EdgecumbeHealth. Summary, "Anne is a well liked colleague and staff enjoy working for her. The theatre team is generally a very happy theatre due to Anne’s relaxed nature." Note to self, be more assertive! #PlasticSurgery pic.twitter.com/yZ7H…
My fees now submitted and mirror those on my website. Need to add some #PlasticSurgery procedures currently not on the list. Also, some descriptors need standardisation/refinement. A great patient tool for decision making. @MattJamesPHIN @SpireParkway @SpireLAston twitter.com/PHIN_UK/…
